
Traditional Residence Halls offer multiple occupancy rooms (doubles, triples and quads) that students share with one, two or three other students. Students living in this type of housing share a community bathroom with several toilet stalls, shower stalls and sinks. Traditional residence halls offer single-gender rooms and are coeducational by floor or section. All first-year students live in traditional residence halls.
Single rooms are located in traditional residence halls. Students living in this type of housing do not have a roommate, but still share a community bathroom with other students. There are a limited number of single rooms available (varies by each residence hall) and most are occupied by upper class students.
Suites have two or more multiple-occupancy bedrooms that share a single bathroom. Some suites also have a common room/space that is shared by suite-mates. Most suites are occupied by juniors and seniors.
Apartments have two or more single and/or multiple-occupancy bedrooms that share a single bathroom and living space/kitchen with a locked entry door. Apartment units are designated as all-male or all-female. Most apartments are occupied by seniors.
Satellite Houses have two or more single and/or multiple-occupancy bedrooms that share a single bathroom and living space/kitchen with a locked entry door in a campus-owned house. All campus owned houses are located on or directly adjacent to campus. Satellite houses are designated as substance-free and either all-male or all-female. Satellite houses are for seniors only.
Stone Apartments (3 and 5 person) have one or two multiple-occupancy bedrooms that share a single bathroom and living space/kitchen with a locked entry door. Stone apartment units are designated as all-male or all-female. Stone is located on South Quad and is occupied mostly by seniors.
Senior Co-ed Apartments have four private, lockable single bedrooms, two private lockable bathrooms and a shared living space/kitchen with a locked entry door. Four students of any gender (all male, all female or mixed-gender) choose to live together in these apartments. This type of housing is only available to seniors.
The Homestead is a student-run alternative living community with a focus on ecological sustainability. The Homestead is located just north of campus. This type of housing is only available to upper-class students.
